The Texas Panhandle Range is the largest of the LSUASC ranges in Texas with 54,200 NM2 of airspace, and encompasses the Texas Panhandle region. Airspace goes up to altitudes of 400 feet over acres of agricultural farmland and cattle ranches.
The range is primarily utilized for unmanned research at Texas Tech University, AgriLife's High Plains project, and other phenotyping and precision agriculture research.
